Christmas greeting from the Adorers: Jesus saves us, frees us and leads us to the light. The General Government team of the Adorers, Handmaids of the Blessed Sacrament and of Charity, would like to extend our Christmas greetings to our sisters, to our Adorers’ Family and to all people.

We know that the world is going through a difficult situation, marked by wars, economic and social crises and violence against women. But we also know that God is with all people and that he calls us to be bearers of His light and hope.

For this reason, we Adorers want to continue working for the liberation and promotion of women, with the strength of the Holy Spirit and the intercession of our foundress, St. Maria Micaela. In our Congregation we celebrate Christmas by sharing with the women we accompany, offering them a space of welcome, listening and joy.

On the occasion of Christmas 2023, we wish to express our gratitude and appreciation for your trust and commitment to the Congregation, present in 24 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and America. Thank you for walking with us and for helping us to carry out our mission of Adoration and Liberation.

We would also like to highlight the message of our greeting: “Jesus comes for all humanity; He is interested in the history of each person. He saves us, He frees us from all slavery that oppresses us, from within or from outside. He brings us into the light.

Finally, we share the video congratulation of Sr. Pilar Casas, Superior General, in which she recalls: “Let us rejoice because God never leaves us, let us celebrate that God himself, in the silence of the night, shines in the darkness”.

May this Christmas be an opportunity to renew our faith and our commitment to the Kingdom of God. May the Child Jesus be born in the hearts of all people and fill us with his grace and goodness, may his light dispel the darkness and guide us on the path of peace.
