The Delegation of Japan has a delegate for this triennium 2024-2026

In the Chapter Assembly of the Japanese Delegation of the Sisters Adorers, Sister Manuela Kano has been appointed for the next triennium (2024-2026) on 20th January, 2024.

On 20th January, 2024, the Assembly began its session invoking the Holy Spirit and deepeneing the document of the XXXI General Chapter and how it can be materialized in the Delegation of Japan. The work carried out consisted of recreating Micaela’s dream and the path that the Delegation will follow for the next three years. Sr. Pilar Casas, Superior General, announced the sister who will be the Delegate, Sister. Manuela Kano, being appointed for another three years in this service to the Congregation. In addition, Sisters Micaela Tanigaichi, Secretary and responsible for the area of Vocational Ministry, also  appointed  Euralia Miyashita of Liberating Action, Sr. Chiara Fujita responsible for Shared Mission and economy and Sr. Daniela Mendes for Training. We thank God for the generosity and service to the Delegation and the Congregation of all the sisters who are part of the Japanese delegation.

In the Assembly of the Delegation of Japan, held from January 17 to 20 in Kitami (Japan), 13 sisters participated and it was chaired by the Superior General of the Congregation of Adorers, Sr. Pilar Casas. The Delegation of Japan has 40 sisters distributed in 6 communities in 3 countries: Japan, Vietnam and Cambodia.

After the XXXI General Chapter of the Congregation, The Sisters Adorers, Handmaids of the Blessed Sacrament and Charity,  celebrate the Provincial Chapters from January 15 to February 9, 2024. Our Congregation is structured in 4 provinces (America, Europe -Africa, Kolkata and Mumbai) and a delegation (Japan), therefore, 5 different meetings have been organized.
