Sr. Pilar Casas takes part in the Assembly of the Rome Constellation of the UISG: Synodality and ongoing formation

Sr. Pilar Casas, Superior General of the Adoratrices, took part on January 8 and 9, 2026, in the Assembly of the Rome Constellation, organized by the International Union of Superiors General (UISG), held in Rome under the theme “Deep roots and new shoots. Synodality and ongoing formation.”

The meeting brought together Superiors General and leaders of religious congregations in a climate of prayer, listening, and shared discernment, in harmony with the synodal journey that the Church is undertaking at this time.

A space to listen and discern together

Throughout the days, participants experienced a process that combined moments of prayer, personal reflection, group conversation, and dialogue in assembly, focused especially on ongoing formation lived in a synodal style, drawing from the Final Document of the Synod.

This space made it possible to share experiences, questions, and common challenges, placing at the center the need for a formation that helps us to walk together, to strengthen co-responsibility, and to sustain consecrated life in increasingly diverse and changing contexts.

Walking in ecclesial communion

The event also included time dedicated to the life and organization of the Rome Constellation itself, with election processes and meetings with representatives of the UISG and the Dicastery for Consecrated Life. All of this highlighted the dimension of service, communion, and shared responsibility that characterizes consecrated life in the Church today.

The participation of the Superior General of the Adoratrices in this gathering is situated within this horizon of ecclesial communion, as part of a journey that is not undertaken alone, but in dialogue with other religious congregations and realities of the universal Church.

In harmony with the charism of sisters Adorers

For the Congregation, taking part in these kinds of spaces is an opportunity to continue deepening how to care for the roots of the charism, at the same time, realistically and hopefully welcoming the new shoots that the Spirit is awakening today in the mission.

In this way, synodality and ongoing formation are understood as concrete paths for sustaining an incarnated consecrated life, faithful to the Gospel and attentive to vulnerable women, with whom we relate through our charism and mission of Adoration and Liberation.
