Sofía Alejandra González, novice Adorer, will make her first religious profession of our Congregation, the Adorers, Handmaids of the Blessed Sacrament and of Charity, on Novembre 25, 2023.

The Eucharistic celebration will take place on that day at 20:30 (local time) in the Adorers’ Chapel of San Miguel de Tucumán (351, Alberdi, Street), Argentina.

Sofia, 37, is from Argentina, more precisely from the city of Banda Del Rio Sali, and has been preparing to consecrate herself to the Lord. She got to know the Congregation through Facebook and began volunteering in the Adorers’ project with young teenagers on weekends in Tucumán. In addition, “I also started to do vocational discernment” with Sister María del Valle Velárdez, says Sofía herself.

From Novembre 25, our novice will join the mission of the Adorers of Eucharistic Adoration and Liberation, of personal integration, promotion and social reintegration of women in situations of prostitution and other situations of violence.

For her first religious profession, Sofía chose to use the words of our foundress, Saint Micaela of the Blessed Sacrament: “I no longer have a heart, I gave it to my beloved and I don’t have to ask Him for it”.
