The pastoral visit of the Superior General, Sr. Pilar Casas, to the Province of Mumbai continues. This visit began on August 14, 2025, and will continue until November 26, 2025, with a brief pause in October.
One of the stages of this journey took place in the region of Goa and Karnataka, where the Superior General was able to spend time with the Adorer Family and get to know about the mission of the communities.
Encounter with the Community of Nuvem (Goa)
On September 16, the community of Nuvem joyfully welcomed Sr. Pilar Casas. For three days, the Superior General shared with the sisters moments of fraternity and prayer, in addition to learning in depth about the community’s apostolate. It was an opportunity to strengthen community life and renew the commitment to the Adorer mission.
A Special Celebration in Karwar (Karnataka)
On September 20, the community of Karwar prepared an especially festive welcome for the Superior General. The reception began with a colorful and joyful gesture: the sisters and children of the Navajyoti Nilaya project received her with flower petals, banners, and a red carpet.
Later, in the chapel decorated for the occasion, a lamp was lit as a sign of prayer and gratitude to God, to Mary, and to Saint María Micaela.
In her meeting with the community, Sr. Pilar reminded them that fraternal life is called to be anchored in Jesus Christ: “Community is a divine gift for those who choose to live in it. It is a design of God, and we are instruments of that design to make it a reality.”
Meeting with the Laity and Women of the Project
During the visit, Sr. Pilar also met with the laypeople connected to the Adorer mission in Karwar. They all expressed their gratitude for the accompaniment received from the Sisters Adorers over the years, especially in Adoration and in the educational promotion of the poorest children.
Finally, the Superior General met with the women from the Adorers projects, showing interest in their experiences and expectations, the skills they are developing, and the training programs they are receiving.
Pilgrims of Hope in India
The Adorer Pastoral Visit Mumbai 2025 is leaving its mark on the communities, confirming the richness of the charism of Adoration and Liberation, which remains alive in the Adorer mission in India and the Philippines.
