The preparation for the IX General Conference of the Sisters Adorers 2026 continues. It will take place from October 19 to 31 at the Mother House in Madrid.

After the reflection carried out in the communities, we are now beginning a new phase. This time, we want to listen to the views and contributions of schools, organizations, teams and other spaces that are part of the Adorer Family.

The communities have already shared their reflections, and now other voices are joining the process. Their contributions will be taken into account in the preparation of the Conference. In this way, we continue to incorporate different voices before coming together in October.

Listening in order to keep moving forward together

During these months, we have been preparing for the IX General Conference through different moments of reflection and participation.

In this new stage, exchanging with the different teams and spaces of the Adorer Family allows us to learn about what they are experiencing and the issues they consider important for our Congregation.

The IX General Conference will also be a moment to pause along the way and look back at the journey since the XXXI General Chapter, held in September–October 2023. It will allow us to review the work and commitments undertaken at that time, assess how they have developed and recognize what we have learned along the way. This look at the journey we have made will help us identify the challenges ahead and discern, together, where we are called to move forward as a Congregation.

Everything gathered will be added to the work already carried out in the communities and will help prepare for the gathering that will take place in October.

The IX General Conference will be an opportunity to continue this reflection and discern together the challenges and horizons of the Congregation, on the journey towards the XXXII General Chapter in 2029.

As we approach the General Conference

There is less and less time before we meet at the Mother House in Madrid. From October 19 to 31, the participants in the IX General Conference will share this time of work and discernment.

Until then, we continue gathering contributions from the different realities of the Adorer Family.

We ask the entire Adorer Family to accompany us with their prayers during this time of preparation, so that we may know how to listen to the Holy Spirit and respond faithfully to what is being asked of us today as a Congregation.
