The Adorers’ mission is lived and felt in 24 countries of the world. From September 25 to December 11, 2024, Sister Pilar Casas, Superior General, and Rosaura Patiño, Vicar General, are visiting the Province of America to get to know the work and life of the Adorers’ communities in 8 countries of this continent.   

The General Government team of the Congregation makes these visits to strengthen ties with the Provinces and Delegations of the Congregation. Through these personal encounters, they come into direct contact with the life of our Sisters Adorers, as well as with the women and laity who are part of our mission.   

For the sisters of the General Government these trips are an opportunity to connect, inspire and witness how the charism and mission of Adorers transforms lives in each community. Every encounter, every conversation and every gesture are part of this shared journey of Adoration and Liberation, of promoting and integrating women in situations of prostitution, human trafficking, exploitation and other forms of violence.   

The Congregation of Sisters Adorers, Handmaids of the Most Blessed Sacrament and of Charity, is present in 4 provinces (America, Europe-Africa, Kolkata and Mumbai) and has a delegation in Japan.   

Itinerary of the visit: 8 countries in 75 days   

In the Province of America our 208 sisters are distributed in 29 communities in 10 countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Peru, Dominican Republic and Venezuela). The Province has 2 projects that are coordinated by lay people.   

Sisters Pilar and Rosaura arrived in the American continent, specifically in Bogota (Colombia), on September 25 and will visit different cities of the countries of the Province:    

 Colombia: September 25-26 and October 7- 27.   

 Cuba: September 27-28.    

 Dominican Republic: September 29-October 3.   

 Ecuador: 28-29 October.   

 Peru: October 30- November 1.   

 Bolivia: 2- 10 November.   

 Chile: 11- 25 November.   

 Argentina: 26 November- 11 December.   

In the private area of the Congregation, Sr. Pilar Casas has shared some informative ‘pills’ on the course of the knowledge visits so far. 

At the same time, the General Government Consultants Carmen Pascual, Lissiamma Thuruthikara and Gabriela Valot are visiting the Province of Europe-Africa.
